Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 6 am–11 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Forest Hills Oral Surgery at (718) 575-1010; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Its Google rating stands at 2.7 out of 5 from 149 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Forest Hills is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Forest Hills is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The receptionist or whoever called me to reschedule (without asking me) my appointment which was paid in cash, extremely rude and was never trained basic customer service skills. She refused to listen to anything I was trying to say, constantly talked over me, and completely unwilling to help, saying they don't have spot for me until the next month. Doctor Tokar is geneus, I love him and respect his job, unfortunately I am not coming back to this office only because of that unprofessional lady

Dr Momorsky is amazing and has great bedside manner. He did Apico on me and other surgical placement of chains and extraction on my daughter . No issues all done properly and professionally. Everything explained before and done as he said. Front desk is alittle difficult but you need to look past there attitude as the doctor is amazing. Back staff is also great all his assistants.

I wish I could give 0 stars. My experience with this office was extremely disrespectful of patients’ time. On my first visit, the office was tiny, overcrowded, and there were not enough seats for the number of people waiting. After waiting more than an hour and seeing how slowly the line was moving, I asked to reschedule for the earliest available appointment on another day. The office confirmed the new appointment the day before and even asked me to come a little earlier. I did that. After almost two hours of waiting, I asked when I would be called. The staff told me, “The doctor is not here yet.” I asked why they scheduled and then reconfirmed an appointment time when the doctor wasn't in the office, and why they didn't call patients to reschedule if they already knew the doctor would be more than two hours late. The response was basically that waiting when the doctor is late is standard practice, and that I could go somewhere else if I did not like it. That answer says everything. A medical office should respect patients’ time and communicate honestly. If this is considered “normal practice” here, I would not want to experience their “normal practice” during treatment. Avoi

My 19 year old autistic child had 4 teeth removed by Dr. Mamorsky over three separate appointments. This oral surgeon is amazing! My child is extremely sensitive physically and emotionally and Dr. Mamorsky took the time to gently, patiently, and clearly explain everything that he was doing and accommodate my child’s special needs. The extractions all went smoothly and have healed perfectly. It is great to find a medical professional with both outstanding bedside manner and technical skill! Other than the procedure itself, I would like to add a few notes on the rest of the experience. Firstly, the rude receptionist no longer works there so please don’t let any reviews regarding that put you off. The lady who was at reception the day of my child’s last visit was extremely polite, friendly, and professional. Her name is Flora and she is great! The wait to see the oral surgeon was a little long but considering how much personalised care each patient gets I think it’s a very worth-while trade off. My child and I highly recommend Forest Hills Oral Surgery!

I had my wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Mitchell Mamorsky, and I had a great experience. Dr. Mamorsky was very professional, calm, and explained everything clearly before the procedure. The extraction went smoothly, and I felt comfortable the entire time. The staff was also kind and supportive, which really helped ease my anxiety. I truly appreciate the care I received and highly recommend Dr. Mitchell Mamorsky to anyone needing wisdom tooth removal.
